Sewing Basics: 1-1 Tuition

Never used a sewing machine before? Or are you currently working on a particularly challenging project and in need of some guidance? Join me in the Thread Republic Hub in Huddersfield for a 1-1 sewing session! You can either use one of the machines in the sewing studio or bring your own if you'd like my help to get better acquainted with all the functions and learn some some basic sewing techniques to get you started on your first project! The fabric and haberdashery shop will also be open for any supplies you might need.

Date & Time: These sessions are regularly available every Thursday morning (or in the evening or weekend by prior arrangement). I will contact you after your booking to discuss your availability. 

Skill Level: Suitable for complete beginners. 

You’ll need: Nothing, but you're welcome to bring your own machine and tools, a current project and the materials it requires. 

I'll provide: there will be sewing machines available for use, irons and boards, scissors, pins, measuring tapes,  chalk etc. Hot drinks and biscuits will also be provided.

Healthy & Safety: Sanitiser and disinfectant  will be available. If you feel unwell, please stay home. The space has  level access, however the toilet is upstairs.
