Patchwork No-Sew Baubles

Try out this quick, easy way to use up small fabric scraps to create patchwork bauble decorations without the need of a sewing machine!

Time & Location

10 Dec 2022, 10:00 – 12:00

Thread Republic Pop-Up, Princess Alexandra Walk, Huddersfield HD1 2RS, UK

About the Event

In  this two-hour session, we'll be creating our own patchwork bauble  decorations with a no-sew method that is great for using up small pieces  of scrap fabric!

You can create your own patchwork designs - stripes, diamonds,  hexagons or free-style! We'll draw these designs onto our baubles before  starting to add our fabrics. The bauble will be finished with a ribbon  to proudly hang your handmade creation on the tree for many years to  come! Depending on the complexity of your design, we should be able to  make several baubles during the session.

Skill Level: No experience necessary! Suitable for adults and children 10+ years

You’ll need: Nothing - but you are welcome to bring your own scrap fabric if you have some you'd like to use!

Materials included: Scrap fabric, bauble bases, ribbon, scissors.

Tickets: the workshop costs £10 and you can book here - Eventbrite Tickets

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone   will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant  will  be available. If you feel unwell please let us know and stay home.

Course conditions: the workshop needs minimum   numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this the workshop   will be cancelled. Your booking is secured by payment and if you  choose  to cancel you get a refund up to 7 days before the event however  after  that no refund can be given. Please don’t arrive more than 10  minutes  before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.
