Open Sewing Studio

Join me in the Thread Republic Hub in Huddersfield for a weekly sewing guidance session! A perfect chance to work on your current sewing project in the company of other sewists, with my help, tips and advice on hand as the resident sewing practitioner. Whether you're new to sewing and in need of some pointers, or would just like some regular encouragement to keep brushing up your skills, the studio is open to you to use  every Thursday 1-3pm alongside the fabric & haberdashery shop for any supplies you might need.

Skill Level: All levels of sewing experience welcome!

You’ll need: Your project and the materials it requires. You're also welcome to bring your own machine and tools if you prefer

We'll provide: there will be sewing machines available for use, irons and boards, scissors, pins, measuring tapes, chalk etc. Hot drinks and biscuits will also be provided.

Cost: Thread Republic is a social enterprise. I'd suggest a minimum donation of £10 to help cover running costs (payable on the day).

Healthy & Safety: Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell, please stay home. The space has level access, however the toilet is upstairs.
